Cognitive Skills

Cognitive skills refer to the mental abilities and processes that enable us to acquire, process, store, and retrieve information. These skills involve various cognitive processes such as perception, attention, memory, problem-solving, critical thinking, reasoning, and decision-making.

PO1: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering practices, innovation techniques, entrepreneurship, and human factors to provide value-adding solutions to complex Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical Engineering challenges.


Module: Engineering Fluid Dynamics


Studying "Engineering Fluid Mechanics" has equipped me with essential knowledge and understanding of fluid behavior and its practical applications in engineering. I have gained insights into fluid properties, flow dynamics, and the importance of ethical considerations. The hands-on experiences in the laboratory and exposure to computational tools have enhanced my problem-solving skills. Overall, this module has provided a strong foundation for me to analyze and solve complex fluid-related engineering challenges with confidence.

Module: Engineering Design & Project Management


Studying "Engineering Design and Project Management" has provided me with valuable knowledge and skills in systematic design approaches, collaboration, effective communication, and project planning. I have learned to set clear objectives, work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, and utilize project management tools. Additionally, the module has instilled in me the importance of ethical and sustainable considerations in engineering projects. Overall, this module has equipped me with the necessary foundations to successfully execute and manage engineering projects while prioritizing efficiency, collaboration, and sustainability.

This project strengthened my skills in problem-solving, project management, and effective communication. It also instilled in me a deep sense of social responsibility and the importance of considering the broader societal implications of my engineering work.
